The Haunting Presence

(Shaniya's pov)

I couldn't shake off the feeling of unease that lingered since that fateful night. The image of the mysterious woman in the white saree haunted my thoughts, her face obscured by shadows, yet emitting an aura of dread that sent chills down my spine. The storm outside mirrored the turmoil within me, each lightning strike illuminating her figure as she drew closer, an ominous presence seeping through the window into my room.

As I lay frozen in fear, her ethereal form seemed to beckon me, a silent call that I couldn't resist despite the terror that gripped my heart. With each step she took towards me, the air grew colder, and the room filled with a sense of foreboding that suffocated me.

I tried to scream, to move, but my body refused to obey, as if paralyzed by her otherworldly presence. Questions raced through my mind - Who was she? What did she want from me? Why had she chosen to reveal herself to me in the dead of night?

Just as I thought I couldn't bear it any longer, a sudden flash of light engulfed the room, blinding me momentarily. When my vision cleared, she was gone, leaving behind a lingering sense of dread that clung to the air like a heavy fog.

The night passed in a blur of fear and confusion, the echoes of her presence lingering long after dawn had broken. I knew then that this was only the beginning, that the woman in the white saree held secrets that would unravel before me, drawing me deeper into a world where reality and the supernatural intertwined in a dance of shadows and whispers.

As I gazed out into the stormy sky, I braced myself for the journey that lay ahead, knowing that the haunting presence of the woman would lead me down a path fraught with mystery, danger, and the unknown. And so, with a sense of trepidation and curiosity, I prepared to unravel the enigma that had entered my life that stormy night.
