(Shaniya's pov)
The following days were marked by an eerie stillness that seemed to linger in the air, a silent reminder of the woman in the white saree who had crossed the threshold between worlds and into my consciousness. Her presence haunted my every thought, a whisper in the wind that stirred the leaves outside my window, carrying with it a sense of impending doom.
I found myself drawn to the woods behind my house, the same woods where she had appeared to me that tumultuous night. The trees swayed ominously, their branches reaching out like skeletal fingers, as if beckoning me to uncover the secrets they held within their depths. With each step I took into the heart of the forest, the air grew colder, the shadows deeper, until I could almost feel her presence beside me, guiding me through the darkness.
As I ventured further into the unknown, a faint light flickered in the distance, drawing me closer like a moth to a flame. The source of the light was a dilapidated cottage, its walls covered in ivy and moss, a relic of a time long forgotten. I hesitated at the threshold, the weight of the unknown pressing down on me, yet a curiosity burning within me that refused to be extinguished.
Stepping inside, the air was heavy with the scent of decay and dampness, the silence broken only by the creaking of floorboards beneath my feet. Shadows danced along the walls, casting eerie shapes that seemed to shift and move of their own accord. It was then that I heard it - a whisper, soft and melodic, yet laced with a hint of malice that sent shivers down my spine.
Her voice spoke of forgotten truths and forbidden desires, weaving a tale of love and loss that spanned centuries. I felt her presence all around me, in the creak of the floorboards, in the rustle of the leaves outside, in the very heartbeat of the earth beneath my feet. She was everywhere and nowhere, a ghostly specter that refused to be silenced, her story intertwined with mine in ways that I could not yet comprehend.
As I listened to her haunting whisper, I knew that my journey was far from over, that the mysteries that awaited me were darker and more twisted than I could have ever imagined. And so, with a mixture of fear and determination, I braced myself for the revelations that lay ahead, knowing that the woman in the white saree held the key to unlocking the secrets that lay buried in the shadows of the past.
Whenever I sleep I feel like I am not sleeping I am awake but my eyes are not opening I can feel the one corner of the wall is dark I want to see who is there but I can't see but I know there is someone , someone who is coming towards me I want to shout but I can't, I am scratching my sisters who are sleeping with me but they are not getting up like they are dead I just cannot do anything now I feel like I m going to die and then boom everything stops I wake up with jerk btw all this time I was full awake but eyes we're not opening like someone has closed them forcefully but when my eyes open there is no one, on my side I can see my family members sleeping peacefully and here I can't sleep again this night also wasted
